Frank E. Mackle Community Parkin Marco Island, Florida is a place for all kinds of outdoor sports activities including ping-pong, walking, jogging, shuffleboard and “lawn bowling”, also known as bocce.
The park features paved walkways that run around the edge of a small lake with a fountain. There is a covered basketball court, volleyball court and soccer field, a large children’s playground for climbing and exploring, and a splash water park with jets for cooling off on hot days.
Canine Cove Dog Park
Dogs are welcome at Mackle Park in the designated Canine Cove Dog Park, which is open daily from 8 a.m. to dusk. There are two designated areas, one for large dogs and the other for small dogs. Pet owners can relax at the picnic benches and watch their pets exercise and play safely in the enclosed space.
Kids Camp and Events
From June to mid-August, the park hosts Camp Mackle, a summer program of supervised fun for children aged 6 to 11. Mackle Park also hosts a variety of year-round family-friendly events.
Entrance to Mackle Park, the Community Center amenities, and restrooms are free.
