Plays, Concerts, and Backstage Tours
TheatreZone presents concerts, plays, and musicals on stage from December through May at the intimate 250-seat G&L Theatre on the Community School of Naples campus. Each year TheatreZone presents a holiday concert, four stage performances, and two musical concerts by internationally known groups.
The 2017-2018 Season includes the musicals Me and my Girl (Jan. 11-21), The Secret Garden (Feb. 8 -18), Barry Manilow’s Copacabana (March 8-18), and Baby (April 26 – May 6). The 2017-2018 TheatreZone Season concerts brings the California surf culture of the 1960s to life with Jan & Dean’s Beach Party Featuring Dean Torrence (Jan. 23 & 24) and the world’s only all Liverpool-born Beatles tribute band, The Mersey Beatles (Feb. 21).
Founder and Artistic Director Mark Danni has a goal to feature at least a couple of nationally known celebrities each season. Seasoned Broadway veterans and celebrities including Anna McArdle, of the original Annie, Donna Mckechnie from the original A Chorus Line, and Georgia Engel, who played Georgette on the Mary Tyler Moore show, have all graced the stage at TheatreZone.
TheatreZone Off-site Cabaret Series
Enjoy coffee, tea, continental breakfast items and other refreshments along with a presentation of Broadway show tunes and other favorite standards from TheatreZone actors during their new “Coffee, Tea, and Broadway” cabaret series. Each performance features different songs and singers.
The cabaret series is presented in the auditorium at Moorings Park with refreshments served in their library. The cabaret series is open to the public with admission tickets priced at $35.
TheatreZone’s off-site cabaret series takes place on four Wednesdays: January 17, February 14, March 14 and May 2, 2018. The receptions are 10:30 to 11:00 a.m., the performances are 11 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and a meet-and-greet with the artists plus additional refreshments is from 12:00 to 12:30 p.m.
TheatreZone 2018-19 Season
Season tickets for TheaterZone’s six musicals are available for purchase March 1, 2018 to season ticket holders, March 19, 2018 to new season ticket holders who purchase at least three of the Broadway series shows, and on April 1, 2018 for single tickets.
The AllStars of TheatreZone performance featuring special guest star Rupert Holmes, the multiple Tony-Award winner and platinum recording artist will take place January 25, 2019. Tickets are on sale now.

The Mystery of Edwin Drood
A winner of three Tony Awards including Best Musical, this creative show is an interactive whodunit mystery musical based on Charles Dickens’ unfinished novel. The audience chooses the show’s ending at each performance! Performances are 8:00 p.m. on Jan. 10, 11, 12, 17, 18, 19; 2:00 p.m. on Jan. 12, 13, 19, 20; and 7:30 p.m. on Jan. 13, 20, 2018. Ticket prices are $50, $60 and $75.
Elton John and Tim Rice’s Aida
A winner of four Tony Awards, these famous songwriters penned an epic tale of love, loyalty and betrayal told through soaring ballads and exuberant dancing. Performances are 8:00 p.m. on Feb. 7, 8, 9, 14, 15, 16; 2:00 p.m. on Feb. 9, 10, 16, 17; and 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 10, 17, 2018. Ticket prices are $50, $60 and $75.
On a Clear Day You Can See Forever
Memorable music about an unusual young woman, her past life personalities, and the psychiatrist who falls in love with one of them. Performances are at 8:00 p.m. on March 7, 8, 9, 14, 15, 16; 2:00 p.m. on March 9, 10, 16, 17; and 7:30 p.m. on March 10, 17, 2018. Ticket prices are $50, $60 and $75.
And the World Goes ‘Round
A stunning revue of the expansive songbook of Kander and Ebb, who wrote the music and lyrics to Cabaret, Chicago and other award-winning Broadway shows. Performances are at 8:00 p.m. on April 25, 26, 27, May 2, 3, 4; 2:00 p.m. on April 27, 28, May 5; and 7:30 p.m. on April 28 and May 5, 2018. Ticket prices are $50, $60 and $75.
A winner of three Tony Awards, this is a hilarious musical satire about the legal system, capitalism, social irresponsibility and more. The show will be performed at the Theatre Lab at FGCU’s Bower School of Music & the Arts, 10501 FGCU Blvd. South, Fort Myers. It will feature professional actors teamed with FGCU students taught by TheatreZone staff. Performances will be 8:00 p.m. on Oct. 11, 12, 13; and 2:00 p.m. on Oct. 13, 14, 2018. Ticket prices are $40 & $45.
Home for the Holidays
Get in a festive mood with this original holiday spectacular featuring seasonal songs and gorgeous costumes. Performances are 8:00 p.m. on Dec. 7 and 8 and 2:00 p.m. on Dec 8 and 9, 2018. Ticket prices are $50, $60 and $75.
