This Christmas Day parade through the Amish and Mennonite community of Pinecraft in Sarasota draws more than 1,000 spectators. Participants assemble in the parking lot at Der Dutchman restaurant, 3713 Bahia Vista St. at around 1 p.m. and the parade starts at about 3 p.m. and winds through the neighborhood. Pinecraft is near the intersection of Bahia Vista Avenue and Beneva Road in Sarasota, FL. Bring a lawn chair for a sidewalk seat.
