Naples Pier

Free things to do in Florida include 24/7 fun at the Naples Pier. Spend a few hours people-watching and lounging along the Gulf. After soaking up free sunset views dipping into the Gulf, stay for night fishing and mingle with the locals looking for a catch under the stars. Although the Pier is free, you can splurge on snacks and beer at the concession area for a festive afternoon or evening.

Cambier Park

Situated in the heart of downtown Naples, the 12.84-acre Cambier Park is a fun stop for play and relaxation with year-round free events. Look for concert bands, jazz and live entertainment or outdoor movies. The annual Naples National Art Festival also calls Cambier Park home to connect the best local artists to the community. And if your vacation doesn’t coincide with Cambier Park’s free events, pack up a picnic and sprawl out in the green space for a lazy afternoon.

The von Liebig Art Center

The Naples Art Association makes its permanent home at The von Liebig Art Center drawing over 100,000 visitors a year. It’s also a rewarding stop for your free things to do in Florida wish-list. Exhibits and galleries regularly rotate with national and internationally-recognized artists with an emphasis on local work. The von Liebig also features outdoor shows and Art in the Park. Local artists showcase their work for a juried art show held on the first Saturday of each month from November until April.

Window Shopping

Naples is renown for its sun-soaked shopping. The heart of Naples’ retail district running along 5thAvenue South and Third Street South. Take a stroll and browse at Marissa Collections or Marilyn’s Distinctive European Fashion for the best in downtown Naples shopping. In addition to boutique options, Naples is also home to Mercato Shops and Waterside Shops for even more window shopping options.
