Hilarious Stand-Up Comedy Shows Year-Round
McCurdy’s Comedy Theatre has been bringing comedy to the Sarasota area since 1988. Its downtown Sarasota location features comfortable cabaret-style seating, with most of the seats less than thirty-five feet from the stage.
A few of McCurdy’s past performers include Chris Rock, Larry Miller, Elayne Boosler, Andrew Dice Clay, Josh Blue, Soupy Sales, Larry “The Cable Guy, Tom Arnold, and Kevin Nealon.
McCurdy’s also hosts special events and shows, including hypnotists, Burlesque shows, and Drag Queen Bingo.

Grab a Drink or Bite to Eat in The Green Room East End Bar
Doors to The Green Room East End open at 6 p.m. Prior to the performance, the Green Room is standing room only. Bar stools, tables, and chairs are available after the show.
A full bar and menu are also available in the showroom theatre. During the show, the minimum purchase from the food and drinks menu is two items per person.
Walk Up Box Office Hours
Closed Monday. Open Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Wednesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and reopens at 6 p.m. for the show. Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m., and reopens at 6 p.m. for the show. Sunday is open at 6 p.m. for the show.
Convenient parking is available in the Links Parking Garage attached to McCurdys Theatre. Additional parking is available in the Courthouse Centre Parking Garage where the Melting Pot restaurant is located. Street parking is available on Main Street.
