Alison Hagerup Beach Park in Captiva Island

Alison Hagerup Beach Park AKA as Captiva Beach is a wide, sandy stretch of beach located at the northern tip of Captiva Island off San-Cap Road adjacent to South Seas Island Resort. Captiva Beach is located within easy walking distance to several Captiva Island casual restaurants and cafes. Take a short walk from the beach to cool off with some ice cream, a cold drink, or lunch.

Romantic Sunset Spot

Alison Hagerup Beach Park and Captiva Beach face west and do not get as crowded as some of the other area beaches making it a romantic spot to snuggle up and catch a sunset. Parking and Amenities

Restroom facilities are available including one handicap accessible. Very limited parking is available. Visitors parking fees: $25 for the first two hours or $40 for all day (dawn to dusk). The park and pay stations are maintained by the Captiva Erosion Prevention District.

A Saltwater Fishing License is required to saltwater fish from shore. There is no fee for Florida residents.

Captiva beaches do not allow pets, open fires, or the collecting of live shells. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited from November through May.
