Celebrate World Giraffe Day at the Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens. Family fun giraffe focused events scheduled throughout the day. Naples Zoo staff and volunteers will share the wonders of giraffes at education stations within the historic garden and help guests find answers to giraffe themed Scavenger Hike for a chance to win a family or grandparent zoo membership. And of course, what better way to celebrate then by hand-feeding the world’s tallest animal. Guests can hand-feed our giraffe herd daily from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. After you feed the giraffes, you can feed yourself at South Street City Oven and Grill located at 1410 Pine Ridge Rd between 5 and 8 pm. South Street is donating $2 from every draft beer sold to giraffe conservation efforts through Naples Zoo and even more when you order a “Reticulated Wreck” cocktail and custom pint glass featuring the four giraffe at Naples Zoo.
