SRQ Vets’ annual Memorial Day 5K hike starts at J.D. Hamel Park then around downtown Sarasota, then down Main Street, back to the park for a cookout, music, rock wall bungee jumping, raffles and more. $30 per person (includes event shirt, lunch and a beverage), free under age 12 with paid adult.
