Every year at the Annual Everglades Seafood Festival, a variety of Museum of the Everglades partner non-profit organizations gather in tents along the boulevard in front of Museum of the Everglades to share information about the area’s ecosystem and the opportunities to experience it with thousands of visitors. Museum of the Everglades will be featuring pop-up history exhibits in tents and other special attractions including classic swamp buggies and the Conservancy of Southwest Florida’s Learning Adventures Bus in their parking lot. Members of the Miccosukee Tribe of Florida Indians will also be onsite doing traditional cooking and crafting demonstrations. Museum of the Everglades will be open to the public with the new temporary exhibit, Randy Wayne White’s Everglades, in the front gallery and the permanent exhibits including the 1929 Harley-Davidson motorcycle in the back. Call or visit website for additional information.
