Celebrate Cape Coral’s official City Bird, the Burrowing Owl. Cape Coral, Florida is home to the largest population of the State designated “threatened” burrowing owls in Florida. The festival will educate citizens about this owl as well as wildlife and environmental concerns in SW Florida. Events will include hands-on activities for adults and children, wildlife speakers, live animals, owl burrow and local wildlife bus tours, photographers birding tour, birding walks, native plant sales, butterfly house tours, arts and craft and food vendors. A $5.00 donation is suggested, children under 12 are free. Parking is free. Visit website for additional information.
