Sip-n-Cycle Cruises Siesta Key Party Boat Tours

If you’re visiting Siesta Key, Sarasota, or Venice, get together a group of friends or family and book yourself a place on a fun pedal-powered, party boat.

Sip-n-Cycle pedal boat tours last up to two hours and depart from Midnight Pass Road on Siesta Key and Pop’s Sunset Grill in Nokomis. Don’t worry; there is backup engine power so you don’t have to pedal for two hours unless you want to.

BYOB snacks and beverages in plastic cups or cans–glass is not allowed on the boat so anything in a glass container will need to be poured into a plastic cup prior to departure. There’s a cooler and ice on-board for keeping drinks chilled. Alternatively, beverages are also available for purchase at Pop’s Sunset Grill and Bayfront Excursions prior to departure, or when the tour stops at Evie’s at Spanish Point Tiki Bar.

Once on-board, take your seat at one of the ten stations that face each other down the center of the pontoon boat. You have your own bicycle seat and set of bicycle pedals beneath a shady awning. The bar top has cup holders and ice coolers. Set the mood by choosing your own music to listen to from the on-board Bluetooth sound system.

Pedal at your own pace while your captain navigates on a fun pedal power water cruise that includes a stop at a bar/restaurant. Sip-N-Cycle Cruises pedal boat tours Siesta Key, Florida. Boat accommodates up to 16 guests–ten at pedal stations surrounding a central bar, and six others on bench seating. The boat’s two coolers are fully stocked with ice to keep your drinks cold. Guest can bring up to 36 oz. of beer (cans only please) or 18 oz. of wine! Photo by Nita Ettinger. Must Do Visitor Guides | MustDo.com

Currently the record speed achieved is 6.04 miles per hour. Perhaps you and your group can beat that record. Most cruisers only manage around 4.75mph, which seems just right for sharing good times with friends and drinking cold beverages as you pedal your way through the calm Intracoastal Waterway. Keep a watchful eye for wading birds, hovering ospreys, leaping fish, dolphins, and manatees.

Sip-n-Cycle Cruises’ boat can accommodate up to 16 passengers and are ideal for families, team building with colleagues, bachelor/bachelorette parties, birthday celebrations, and bridal showers. Custom private parties are also available.

Sip-n-Cycle Cruises also offers pedal-powered street cruiser tours in Siesta Key Village. Book a private party or make new friends and grab seats–first come, first serve. Sip-N-Cycle’s pedal-powered party bike is equipped with 12 pedal stations–two of which are stationary–and a bench seat to accommodate three additional passengers. Riders sit on opposite sides, each with their own bike saddle and pedals beneath the central bar. The party bike has a canopy cover for sun protection, but it’s still a good idea to put on sunscreen.
