Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club

Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club beachfront resort Naples, Florida

NOTICE: The Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club will be permanently closed May 23, 2021.

My family and I recently had an opportunity for a mini-vacation to Naples, FL and we stayed at the Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club. This Gulf front luxury hotel is located close to downtown Naples restaurants and shops and has a prime location on the beach.  Our Gulf view suite had great access to the pool, beach & restaurants and included a kitchenette and dining table in the main living room with sleeper sofa and balcony, as well as a separate bedroom with golf course view balcony. The suite was spacious, tastefully decorated and thoroughly modern. Framed reproductions of renowned Photographer Clyde Butcher’s black & white Florida landscapes complimented the room décor. The hotel offers several other room or floor plan options for guests each with its unique features.

Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club features a large swimming pool. The Naples Beach Hotel has a large pool area with separate adult and children’s pools and Jacuzzi’s including locker rooms with showers and easy access to the poolside bar and grill.  They even have a poolside shop stocked with items you may have forgotten such as sunscreen, goggles, sunglasses, etc. A multitude of beach and water activity rentals are available ensuring that there is always plenty to do. We took full advantage of a relaxing afternoon sipping mojitos and lounging around the adult pool. Plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas were available for guests. For those who want or need a break from the sun, there are several tables and ample bar side seating for dining and or drinks. Sports enthusiasts won’t have to miss their favorite games as they can enjoy them from the flat screen TVs.  For parents who need a break, the complimentary Kid’s Club program offers children ages 5-12 fun activities to keep them entertained.Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club beachfront hotel.Guests who prefer to put their toes in the sand will not be disappointed. The Hotels location directly on the beach provides convenient access along with lounge chairs and shaded tiki hut umbrella tables.  Although there is no lifeguard, the gentle slope of the shore makes the water a safe environment for children and uneasy swimmers. The flat beach is great for leisurely walks. We enjoyed our beach walks, searching for sand dollars and watching the shore birds.

The Sunset Bar and Grill at the Naples Beach HotelNot to be missed are drinks and a bite to eat at the Sunset Beach Bar & Grill. It’s location, literally, steps from the beach has garnered it numerous awards including “Best Place to Catch a Southwest Florida Sunset” and “Best Beachfront Bar in Naples”! The bar is open to the public, so even if you don’t have an opportunity to stay at the Naples Beach Hotel, you can still enjoy this spectacular view. The Bar’s open-air design and large patio lounge area are so inviting you might stay long after sunset. We enjoyed a round of drinks, the view, and the cool Gulf breeze.

Immediately adjacent to the Sunset Beach Bar & Grill is HB’s on the Gulf, Naples only beachfront restaurant. Hotel and restaurant guests can choose to dine outside on the patio or in their quaint indoor dining room.  HB’s is a popular spot for business lunches, all occasion dinners with visitor and residents alike. We dined there for lunch. Diners are greeted with a basket of warm asiago cheese herbed bread while deciding what to order.  Our party ordered a ½ lb. Angus Sirloin Burger with all the fixin’s (bacon, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onion) and Fries, Organic Florida Field Greens Salad with Crab Cakes and a Classic Caesar with Blackened Shrimp. The burger was juicy and flavorful; the curly fries were well seasoned, crispy and delicious. Both salads were very generously portioned. Greens were fresh, and both seafood additions were well prepared and complimented the salads.HB's on the Gulf, beachfront dining at the Naples Beach Hotel & Golf Club in Naples, Florida.

The Naples Beach Hotel also offers guests the option of dining at Broadwell’s. Where they can find breakfast items from the A la Carte menu and continental buffet while enjoying views of the golf course. If you’re looking for something quick and easy stop by the Seminole Store located near the hotel lobby.  Here you can purchase bakery items, pizza, ice cream, fruit smoothies, candies & treats as well as other sundries.

The Championship Golf Course offers guest 18 challenging holes of golf. The course was THE first 18-hole golf course to be built in Naples back in the late 1920’s. This course has stood the test of time and has been voted Southwest Florida’s “Best Public Course” and “Top 50 Women Friendly Golf Courses”. Although no one in our party had the opportunity to play a round, the course looked great, and there is a very well stocked pro shop on site.

The Spa at the Naples Beach Hotel and Golf Club, Naples, Florida. The Fitness Center & Spa are located directly across the street from the hotel lobby entrance. The Fitness Center is split into a cardio room and a weight room. Each with flat screen TV’s and wall to wall mirroring. There is a good variety of equipment all of which looked relatively new. Yoga classes are also offered daily.

The Spa at Naples Beach Hotel offers a full range of spa and salon services in a tranquil environment. You’ll find many of the traditional spa services are offered as well as unique options such as a Florida Fruit Fresh Facial or an Aloe Lavender Sunburn Wrap. All in room amenities were created exclusively for the spa and can be purchased in full size at the Spa Shop.
