If you had visited Naples back in the late 1920s, the town would have looked very different from today. However, the Naples Beach Hotel Golf Course would have been in business even then and it continues to be a key landmark today.
Built in the late 1920s, the award-winning 18-hole golf course was redesigned in 1948, in the 1980s by Ron Garl, and most recently in 2016 by golf icon and acclaimed course designer Jack Nicklaus, in collaboration with noted course architect John Sanford. No wonder it has been voted “Southwest Florida’s Best Public Course” and one of the “Top 50 Women Friendly Golf Courses”.

One of the big pluses of playing the Naples Golf Course is that the 18th hole has a wide choice of excellent hotel-standard restaurant facilities. Enjoy drinks in the Beach Bar or admire the beautiful beach views from HB’s on the Gulf, the hotel’s signature restaurant. Alternatively there are stunning golf views through the floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the golf course from the Clubhouse, Broadwell’s.
One little-known secret is that the Naples Beach Hotel Golf Club is open to the public. You don’t actually have to be a hotel guest to enjoy playing on this beautifully located course although there are slightly preferential booking terms and rates for guests playing before 1pm.
