Located right on the waterfront on Naples Bay, the nautically themed Boathouse serves up wonderful seafood with a terrific view. The gleaming wooden bar certainly looks ship shape and deck-like with its varnished wood paneling, decorative sail boats and wooden floor. Fully loaded with everything necessary to make a great cocktail, aperitif or after-dinner drink, the bar is the place to while away a social lunchtime, Happy Hour or evening with friends.

The restaurant area is conveniently arranged on two levels so everyone gets wonderful waterfront views. The area is undisputedly beautiful by day and magical after dark. The walls and rafters of The Boathouse restaurant are tastefully bedecked with nautical memorabilia, ropes, flags, lanterns and chandlery which are high enough not to be annoying. Light rattan and bamboo seating gives the restaurant the feeling of sailing in exotic waters, as indeed you are!

Waterfront Views without Rocking the Boat

The open-sided restaurant overlooking Naples Bay certainly gives the illusion of being on a boat, without the inconvenience of wave-motion! Boats sail by close enough to wave to, if you feel the urge.

If you prefer to be right on the water, there is an outdoor deck where you can enjoy the bay breeze and slappingsound of the waves for added ambience. On cooler (or hotter) days, the glass Florida room/salon offers air-conditioned comfort extending right over the water without sacrificing any of the far-reaching Naples Bay views.

With such an atmospheric setting it seems appropriate to dine on freshly caught fish and seafood. The comprehensive menu is packed with suggestions for appetizers, soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers and steak sandwiches which are ideal for lighter appetites or satisfying lunchtime indulgences.

Steaks and Seafood on the Boathouse Menu

Arrive hungry and enjoy a seafood combo, lobster or crab cooked a variety of ways. Combos can be broiled or fried and include shrimp, mussels, clams, scallops, a filet of fish plus a lobster tail or snow crab.
