Challenging Bonita Fairways Golf Course

If you’re interested in a round of golf somewhere exciting and challenging, it’s time to head to the Gordon Lewis designed golf course at Bonita Fairways near Naples. This executive golf course is semi-private but currently open to the public. You’ll find it located on West Terry Street in Bonita Springs, just minutes from Southwest Florida International Airport.

Opened in 1993, the Bonita Fairways Golf Course is a 3,400-yard, par-61 course with seven par-4 and 11 par-3 holes. You need to allow at least 3½ hours to complete the full round. The course is sure to challenge your game, whether you are a relative novice or an experienced golfer. Affordable Fees and Amenities

Bonita Fairways has all the amenities you would expect of a top golf club including a resident golf pro offering private instruction and group lessons. If you are serious about improving your game, enroll at the Golf School which offers 1-5 day packages at the Paradise Golf Academy.

Visitors to the area can rent clubs from the Pro Shop which is open from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the peak winter/spring season. Golf cart rentals are also available and are included in the green fees. For practicing your short game there’s a putting green along with a driving range.

Bonita Fairways remains a very affordable course for non-members with green fees starting at $33 for 9 holes in peak season, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., and around $23 for 9 or 18 holes after 4 p.m. It’s easy to book a tee time online.

Adjoining the golf course, and newly opened in 2017, is the ALAKAT Linear Park. Land was donated by the President of Alagold Communities, owner of Bonita Fairways Golf Course, to create the park which will be a public amenity for everyone to enjoy.

One More Round at Bonita Fairways Golf Course

Every good game of golf ends at the 19th hole – in this case at One More Round. The appetizing menu has some excellent lunch options, icy beer, cold drinks, and plenty of friendly banter with fellow golfers.

You may also want to check out the Clubhouse during your visit. This two-story building houses a library, card room, billiards and poker tables, theater stage, meeting rooms, banqueting hall, and commercial-grade kitchen, all open to members and residents with golf membership.

Other amenities include lighted tennis courts, shuffleboard, a heated outdoor swimming pool and whirlpool spa.
