Your Inside Guide to: Chicago

Wrigley Field

Even if you can't catch a game at Wrigley, a tour of this hallowed home of the Chicago Cubs is bound to be a "hit" with sports and history buffs alike. Built in 1914, the ballpark — originally known as Weeghman Park — has witnessed such historic moments as Babe Ruth's "called shot," Ernie Banks' 500th career home run and Sammy Sosa's 60th home runs in 1998, 1999 and 2001. A 90-minute tour takes you inside the field's 90-year history and includes stops at the Cubs' clubhouse, visitors' clubhouse, dugouts, mezzanine suites, press box and bleachers. Tours are scheduled throughout the years, but tickets go fast so plan ahead.
