Located at the southwestern tip of Lido Key, the 100-acre South Lido Park is surrounded by water – Gulf of Mexico, Big Pass, Sarasota Bay, and Bushy Bayou.

South Lido Park Beach is a favorite with families, boaters, kayakers, personal watercraft enthusiasts and fishermen.

South Lido Park Beach's amenities include shaded picnic areas, barbeque grills, playground, volleyball, canoe trail, nature trails, observation tower & decks, restrooms and parking. Lifeguards are on duty weekends from Memorial Day to Labor Day ONLY. Swimmers should beware of strong currents.
