Watch history come alive with a docent-guided walking tour of the Naples Historic District. During this educational two hour - one mile tour, visitors will learn about life as it was at the end of the nineteenth century. Explore back alleys, visit the Naples Pier, stroll through Old Naples neighborhoods where famous residents such as the DuPonts once lived, and learn about Naples Founding Father, Walter N. Haldeman. The Naples Historic District Walking Tour also includes a docent-guided tour of the Historic Palm Cottage which is listed in the National Register of Historic Places, a self-guided stroll through The Norris Gardens at Palm Cottage and access to the Cottage Theatre where you can watch dozens of original oral history films.
November through April, tours are scheduled each Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. May through October, tours are offered on the first Wednesday of each month at 9:00 a.m. Reservations required. Call the Naples Historical Society to schedule this fantastic must do tour today!
