Tin City

Experience Naples’ Waterfront at Historic Tin City.

In the 1920’s Tin City’s location on the Gordon River was the hub of Naples’ fishing industry. It’s “Old Florida” tin-topped buildings were home to clam shelling and oyster processing, as well as boat construction and maintenance.  In the 1970’s, seven of these historic buildings were transformed to become “The Old Marine Marketplace at Tin City” – a colorful maritime-themed mix of shops and eateries.

Today, Tin City is home to a waterfront boardwalk full of activity with more than 30 charming shops, two waterfront restaurants; Pinchers Crab Shack and Riverwalk, and some of Naples most unique attractions. Most importantly, at Tin City there are no chain stores. Shop owners scour the marketplace to present locals and visitors alike with a selection that ranges from fresh and funky to chic and unique. Tin City’s attractions include hugging an alligator, jet boat thrill rides and variety of other water adventures including cruises, fishing charters, Jet Ski rentals and more.
