The inaugural ArtsNaples World Festival will take place throughout the week of May 14-20, 2012. The mission of the ArtsNaples World Festival is to produce a world-class festival centered in Naples, Florida featuring the culture of a different region of the world each year.  This year’s festival will focus on the artists and performers of Russia and will allow residents and visitors to be immersed in the country’s art, orchestral concerts, opera, ballet, theater, chamber music, virtuoso piano recitals, jazz, cuisine, fashion, film, and more.  Honorary Festival Chair, the Russian Ambassador to the United States, Sergey Kislyak, will share the cultures of Russia during this annual tradition planned to celebrate the arts throughout the world.

Third Street South welcomes Naples to its 36th annual tree lighting ceremony with Santa, Fairy Snow Mother, Snow King & Queen, snow and shopping! 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The festivities continue the rest of the week with more music and snow. Tuesday, Nov. 22nd 6:00pm – 9:00pm: snow show at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 23rd 6:00pm – 9:00pm: snow show at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 24th Thanksgiving – No music or snow show. Friday, Nov. 25th 6:00pm – 9:00pm: snow show at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 26th 6:00pm – 9:00pm: snow show at 7:30 p.m.
