True Tours offers a fascinating 60-minute Historical Walking Tour that presents an educational and downright entertaining perspective of the local history and historical buildings in the downtown Fort Myers River District. Visitors are sure to have a memorable experience as they discover how the historical interplay of architecture, commerce and personalities of Fort Myers past make it the place it is today. The hour long tours are offered each Friday at 10:30 a.m. as well as the first Friday of each month at 5:00 p.m., and Sunday mornings. The Sunday morning tours may include brunch at Hotel Indigo and admission to the Edison Ford Winter Estates. Other tours may also be scheduled by appointment.
